Mistral Nautical Wall Clock
This Mistral Nautical wall clock is made of several layers of wood, painted high quality acrylic paint. Stainless steel elements are used in the construction of this clock model. The clock face is covered with a piece of acrylic glass.
While making the design of a new clock we were inspired by very many nautical elements that often remind of harsh and adventurous life of sailors, miles and miles of seas and oceans that they cross driven by their personal goals or the companies they work for. Here we tried to unite an anchor which has already become a symbol and a general shape of a porthole, having in mind Mistral which is one of the 8 winds of the Mediterranean - Tramontane, Gregale, Levante, Sirocco, Ostro, Libeccio and Ponente. Mistral is a strong, cold, northwesterly wind that blows from southern France into the Gulf of Lion in the northern Mediterranean. The mistral is usually accompanied by clear, fresh weather, and it plays an important role in creating the climate of Provence. It can reach speeds of more than 90 km/h (56 mph), particularly in the Rhône Valley.
Upon request the clock can be personalized with a text engraving, which will neatly supplement the look of the clock face.
